FINALLY!!!!!!!
It is spring break!
I wanted to put a sign on my shirt with a count down of the hours until the end of the day. Each hour the number would change.
I haven't been this excited for spring break since jr high. It could be because I'm really ready for a break, then again, maybe the vibe at the grade school is infectious.
WOO HOO!!!!

Developing film in coffee and Ready Made obsession
Really. Coffee and mule team borax. That just blows my mind. Who would have thought that caffeine works as a developer?
Now I just have to try it. I got the instant coffee (because while I have lovely regular coffee, I have no instant) and the washing soda. Now I just have to pick up the film developer tank and reel and I'm set.
I have these three rolls of film and I have no idea what they have on them. I know one of them has bridal pictures of Suzanne if that tells you how long they have been sitting around. The others are a mystery.
It will be bonus film developing time. Mystery pictures AND working with alternative processes. I can't wait for tomorrow evening! I'll post after I'm finished.
This goes under things Ellie would like!
Have I ever mentioned I just don't like to scrapbook? Well, for those of you who are in my small club, try this.
As if you can't tell I'm in love with Ready Made magazine. Their blog is especially cool and should be checked out daily!

More settled at least for now.
Today is my last day at the golf course. In some ways, I am ELATED! I hate parts of this job. I will miss the people though. But not that much. I will miss how easy it is at times. There isn't a lot of thinking or skill required.
For a week or two I was going to quit photography, only because it's the harder (if photography can truly be called hard) of the two. Looking back, that was insane. I make 5 times as much shooting as I do at the course and spend less time doing it!
I think I'm just unsettled by a looming graduation and some weird political crap at church. I feel like everything is transitioning again. I may have mentioned it before, but in case I haven't, I love changes. Life changes, season changes, changes in general. Change is a good thing. However, I hate the TRANSITION from one thing to the next. I hate the limbo of waiting for the change.

Spring woke me up.....
Spring is here, but for those of you that really pay attention, it arrived last week at about 2 in the morning. It must have been noisy since it woke me up. It's weird to wake up in the dead of night and simply think, "Hey, it's spring now." The smell changed too. It suddenly smelt like spring.
People think the seasons shift quietly. Wrong. There's a slow glide from one to the other, but when it changes it bangs in. You just have to pay attention.
This week of beautiful, fabulous shoe weather (see previous post), confirms it. As do the robins and the blue jays singing early in the morning. So hello spring!
