Inspired by Cassie's Chair

The green chair, similar to cassie's blue one, is leaving and going to a new home. So, as it's bon voyage, I drug it five miles outside of town to Marc's grandpa's wheat field and set the children on a journey. And amazingly enough, even the grumpy one was agreeable today.

Yeah, it's kind of like what the heck? How did they get the chair out there? Then you realize it's a boat in an ocean and you are wrapped up in what they are imagining. I wanted the sail bigger and white. Then I realized that as a kid, they would use whatever scrap of fabric they could find. Hence the imperfection and lack of a real fishing pole. I think, after I get the color the way I want it, that this, is good enough for canvas. It's that moment when imagination is huge and bounds are limitless, and you are adrift in a sea searching for the shore.

And this is what happens when I think WAY too long about something. This has been brewing since you did your chair photos.
