I made Cheesecake brownie ice cream today. It was beyond awesome. Logan was being a pill and decided he didn't want any because it wasn't on his terms.
"I don't want ice cream."
"You love cheesecake. Eat the ice cream."
"I don't want it."
"Decker will eat it if you don't eat it now."
"I don't want any ice cream."
"Eat it."
"All day I've been forced to do things I don't want to do. I was forced to play catch. I was forced to play Xbox. Now I'm being forced to eat ice cream."
Laughter, doubled up rolling on the floor laughter from me.
His life is SOOOOO bad.

Dammit. I would have a picture for you but...
My camera bag was in the car.
My video camera was in the car.
My camera was at HOME.
My video camera was NOT CHARGED.
Did you see the weather tonight.
I drove through that.
I have never actually seen a wall cloud that close, in person before.
IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
And the weather guys, they were making it seem like it was rotating more than it was.
Camera goes in the bag, bag goes in the car.

The cable....poor children
Again, because we don't watch much tv, the children's brains are rotting, and really is it worth $400 a year to watch cartoons, we have dropped the cable down to the most basic cable. Logan asked why. Marc responded, "Do you really think it's worth $400 a year to watch cartoons?" "No." "Ok then."
There is much withdrawl in the house. In desperation they are watching pbs and playing games with one another. And someone else spent all day watching shows on hulu. But she shall remain nameless.

Um, What?
Logan was kind enough to bring a flu virus home this weekend. No, not swine flu, no aches, no high fevers, just a 24 hour, low grade fever thing. Poor kids caught it from him quick though. Arina and Decker were home today and yesterday as was I. They were all kind enough to share their virus with me. Today I'm still sick, but not as bad. Nothing cures you like almost 24 solid hours of sleep. I think I managed to be up about 4 fours total yesterday. Marc worked from home, so he watched Arina and Decker, so for once, I got to be sick without having to worry about the kids, or dinner or anything else.
But my question is, it's May, why the heck are they getting sick NOW? I mean they made it through the winter without being sick, so why now?

Hmmm, maybe I only want part of the world to know what I'm doing, not all of it.
I've unlinked my feed to my facebook page. I thought I would like having it there for all my friends and everyone else to see.
Nope. Don't like it.
This isn't really that different though. It's just that you have to make a little more effort to get here.
So later, I'll write. Until then, here's a peek at one of my wedding shots:
