Wheat

So what I took 85 pictures of wheat? It's not like you can stop me. So enjoy. These are three of my favorites. Number 31, at least the color version will hang in my sister in law's house. These three all hang in the guest bathroom. In sepia, because they are beautiful. And I lke wheat. A lot. Come to think of it, I think that's all I've shot.

It's like I've lost an arm

Not really. But why Dear Sweet Lord do you torment me by making such beautiful wheat photo weather when my camera is in a box, on someone's desk in Connecticut? WHy are your sunsets more spectaular? Why are my children more charming and photo worthy than normal. But I will bear this torment and wait while the box gets opened, the camera repaired and shipped from someone's desk back to my door. And I will enjoy the beautiful photo opportunities without whining aobut missing my camera.

My color

I got this from Sarah. Unlike her, my color isn't confusing and I'm sure that none of you will be surprised.

You Are a Red Crayon

Your world is colored with bright, vivid, wild colors.

You have a deep, complex personality - and you are always expressing something about yourself.

Bold and dominant, you are a natural leader. You have an energy that is intense... and sometimes overwhelming.

Your reaction to everything tends to be strong. You are the master of love-hate relationships.

Your color wheel opposite is green. Green people are way too mellow to understand what drives your energy.

Camera

My camera is messed up. Stupid thing. For some reason the auto focus is off and the aperature adjustment isn't working. It only displays F--. This is intermittent and very inconvient. So I boxed it up and sent it off today. Bleah.

Inspired by Cassie's Chair

The green chair, similar to cassie's blue one, is leaving and going to a new home. So, as it's bon voyage, I drug it five miles outside of town to Marc's grandpa's wheat field and set the children on a journey. And amazingly enough, even the grumpy one was agreeable today.
